Legal Aid of West Virginia AmeriCorps Member 

Are you interested in learning more about the legal profession, gaining practical work experience, and earning money for college or graduate school, all while changing the lives of people in your community? Legal Aid is seeking to fill an AmeriCorps Member position that will help low-income people when they initially call Legal Aid to seek legal assistance. AmeriCorps Members also work on a service project, assisting attorneys with cases, focus on providing financial education/literacy, and performing other legal work. Must have a high school degree or equivalency. Service term is one year, beginning in August 2019.** All positions are full time and Members are paid a living allowance and earn an Education Award. Benefits include health insurance.
