Support Residents' Rights through Kroger and Amazon

Recognizing the vulnerability of individuals who—through age, illness, or serious injury—are confined to long-term care facilities, the federal government has mandated each state must provide an independent organization specifically tasked with advocating on behalf of residents, investigating complaints made by or on behalf of a resident, and assisting them in exercising their civil rights. October is Residents' Rights Month, and Legal Aid of WV's (LAWV) Ombudsman program is the organization who advocates for West Virginians in long-term or elder care.

Two rewards programs, Amazon Smile and Kroger Community Rewards, have been dedicated to fundraising for the Ombudsman program and LAWV. Signing up and using these simple programs can make a big difference in the rights of West Virginians in care facilities

If supporting those in elder and long-term care is something you would like be a part of, below you will find the instructions on how to sign up for both Amazon Smile and Kroger Community Rewards in order to support LAWV's Ombudsman Program.
