To donate to Legal Aid of West Virginia you may
Call your gift in to the Campaign for Legal Aid during business hours at (304) 343-3013 x 28 or 46
Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) has two funding priorities to support legal assistance to the citizens of West Virginia:
The Campaign for Legal Aid: The Campaign is the backbone of Legal Aid of West Virginia's fundraising efforts. The Campaign is a statewide annual fundraising effort to raise undesignated contributions that provide the year-in and year-out program support. These donations from individuals, law firms, corporations and organizations are highly prized due to their flexibility of use, which allows for funds to be directed to the areas of greatest need.
The Legal Aid of West Virginia Endowment: Established in 2005, the Legal Aid of West Virginia Endowment seeks to provide a base of support for legal services in perpetuity to relieve Legal Aid from dependence upon unpredictable and inadequate levels of funding. Gifts to the endowment are invested to grow over time. The Endowment is housed at The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, a charitable community trust organized in 1962. The Foundation is a collection of more than 374 funds, including the Legal Aid of West Virginia Endowment. It is easy to make a contribution to the Endowment - just specify to us when making your donation that you want your money to go to the Endowment. If you have any questions, please contact Adrienne Worthy, Executive Director of LAWV, at (304) 343-3013 x 28.
