Free Legal Assistance on Tax Problems for Low-Income Taxpayers
- The West Virginia University College of Law offers a "Tax Clinic" which gives legal assistance to low-income individuals with tax problems. The Tax Clinic provides information, advice, and representation on federal individual tax matters. Unless closely tied to a controversy, however, the Tax Clinic does not assist in the preparation of current income tax returns. Click on this link for additional information on the Tax Clinic, tax law resources and aides, reference materials, and taxpayer web sites of interest. Or contact them directly at 304-293-7249 (voice), 304-293-3762 (fax).
