Document 1 - WV Statutes - The WV Legislature provides an on-line listing of all the statutes enacted in West Virginia. Click this link to go to the Legislature's web site to search the WV Code. 
Document 1 - WV Supreme Court State Law Library - Link to WV Supreme Court web page describing the State Law Library, located in the Capitol Building in Charleston. This includes description of the hours, services, resources and materials, etc. There is also a link for information about several "Legal Research Centers" throughout the state, operated by the Court system and available to the public.

Document Global Legal Information Network - GLIN - Law Library of Congress - The "Global Legal Information Network" is a new feature one the Law Library of Congress web page. GLIN is a public database of laws, regulations, judicial decisions, and other complementary legal sources contributed by governmental agencies and international organizations. These GLIN members contribute the official full texts of published documents to the database in their original language. Each document is accompanied by a summary in English and subject terms selected from the multilingual index to GLIN. All summaries are available to the public, and public access to full texts is also available in participating jurisdictions 
Document Guide to Law On Line - Library of Congress - The Guide to Law Online, prepared by the U.S. Law Library of Congress Public Services Division, is an annotated guide to sources of information on government and law available online. It includes selected links to useful and reliable sites for legal information. Categories include: --International and Multinational; --Nations of the World; --U.S. Federal - includes U.S. Code and Constitution links; --U.S. States and Territories  
Document Law Library of Congress - Main page of the Law Library of Congress, with links to a variety of types of information on-line maintained by the Library of Congress. 
Document Legal Research Centers - WV Supreme Court - In addition to the "Self-Help Center," the WV Supreme Court has information about legal research, using both a web page and ten public libraries and law libraries around the State. Click here to "understand the legal process, search the Internet for legal materials, write a letter, fill out forms, or print a document," with help from this Supreme Court web page.

Congress directed the Library of Congress to make federal legislative information freely available to the public. Since that time THOMAS has expanded the scope of its offerings.
