Due to COVID-19, courts may require face coverings for all meetings or hearings. We recommend taking one with you so you are not turned away.

Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) focuses its work in three broad program areas:  Civil Legal Aid, Behavioral Health Advocacy, and Long-Term and Elder Care (Ombudsman).  Each program operates under the LAWV umbrella, providing expertise specific to its program's focus. Together, collaboration across programs allows LAWV to achieve its broader goal of reaching West Virginia's most vulnerable people, providing a continuum of advocacy that results in meaningful solutions for thousands of individuals and families.
