Due to COVID-19, courts may require face coverings for all meetings or hearings. We recommend taking one with you so you are not turned away.

Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Information

WVP-EBT Card Information Update

Families with children eligible for free or reduced meals in West Virginia schools that closed due to the pandemic are eligible for food assistance, called Pandemic EBT (P-EBT). If your child attends a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school or county, they are eligible to receive P-EBT. You can find out more about what P-EBT is here.

If your family hasn’t received their P-EBT benefits in the mail by June 30, 2020, please visit the Emergency Meal Survey page to submit a claims resolution form.

This form will be available from June 30 - July 17, 2020.

This form is not an application for benefits. It will create a formal ticket for your case if you still have not received full benefits by that time.

  • Important: You will be contacted regarding your form submission. Due to the high volume of requests right now, it may take 4-8 weeks for a resolution to your claim.

Additional resources in your community may also be available to assist with a variety of needs:

If you have additional questions about West Virginia’s P-EBT, you may email WVPEBT@k12.wv.us, contact your local DHHR field office or the WV Dept of Education at 304-558-2709.

If you still can’t get your P-EBT benefits after going through this process, contact Legal Aid and we will see if we can help. We can be reached by phone at 866-255-4370, or you can apply online by clicking the “Apply” button in the top right of this page.
