Due to COVID-19, courts may require face coverings for all meetings or hearings. We recommend taking one with you so you are not turned away.

Get Involved

For over a decade, community support has helped Legal Aid of West Virginia (LAWV) protect tens of thousands of individuals and families struggling with basic issues that affect their homes, safety, livelihoods, and other basic needs.  It has allowed us to make real changes in the lives of our most vulnerable West Virginians.

Yet a justice gap persists - not everyone gets the help they need, and those who do receive help sometimes don't get as much as they truly need. Our hope for the future is this: by partnering with you, we can bring more services to more West Virginians.  Justice should never be apportioned.  If you agree, we hope you will explore the different ways you can be a part of LAWV's mission.
